Guest Speakers

Guest Speakers join AEYL Teens on Monday during regular Leadership Meetings to share testimonies and their role in the community. This allows the teen members to have exposure to small businesses, community members, etc; inspiring, motivating and encouraging on a single platform. Time Commitment: On-Time or On-Going, 1 hour

Mentors

Role-Model for Young Men and Young Ladies (12-18) Time Commitment: 1-hr per Week Community Service participation is optional.

G.E.D. Prep Facilitators

Facilitator may help test candidates with improving their critical thinking, problem-solving, information processing skills in preparation for the TxCHSE – Higher Education Equivalency Test (GED Test). Subjects include: Mathematics | Reasoning through Language Arts | Social Studies | Science Time Commitment: 1 ½ Hours Weekly On-Going OPPORTUNITY OPEN

Academic Tutors

MS/HS Level Tutors help students learn, review academic content, explain how to solve problems and checking completed work. Tutors may also help students develop study skills and organization techniques to help improve their academic performance. Subjects include: Math (ALGEBRA, GEOMETRY, ETC.) | AP World History / World Geography | Chemistry | Spanish | American Sign Language Time Commitment: 1-Hour Weekly for 4 weeks (After-School Hours 5 pm- 7 pm) OPPORTUNITY OPEN
