UPDATE FROM Class of 2024 Recipient:
"During my first semester I was selected to attend the annual Leadership City Limits Conference sponsored by Housing and Dining. This conference provides students with opportunities to attend workshops, network with campus leaders, and learn skills essential to helping them grow as leaders. I also joined the Black
Student Alliance and began working with the Freshman Action Team. The Freshman Action Team acts as a voice for the class of 2028 within the BSA, and helps plan events and programs. As a communication student, I wanted to get involved with an organization within my college. After attending several organization fairs I decided to join the National Association of Black Journalists
and I love it!"
